MOOC, free online courses for everyone
MOOCs or Massive Open Online Courses are available to everyone. They are offered free of charge by universities, schools, companies and other institutions wishing to share their knowledge, expertise, experience and skills by uploading content that is accessible to all (usually without any conditions).
Teams of teachers, professionals, learning engineers and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) technicians develop innovative accessible educational content and learning approaches.
The UPL (Université Paris Lumières), comprising Paris 8 University, Paris Nanterre University and the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), offers MOOC courses as part of its SoCulture project — ComUE UPL’s range of MOOC courses.
These MOOCs were made available between 2018 and 2020, and some are still available on our online platform:
- La musique au-delà du numérique (Music, Beyond Digital)
- 18è siècle: le combat des Lumières (18th Century: the Fight for the Enlightenment)
- Faire parler les pierres taillées de la préhistoire (Interpreting Prehistoric Stone Sculpture)
