Internal/external secondary subjects (mineures internes et externes)

Classes chosen as secondary subjects are taken in addition to your degree’s core modules. Students choose from a range of optional and voluntary modules offered by your department or other university faculties (UFRs and Institutes). In the case of the former, students choose an internal secondary subject (mineure interne) and in the case of the latter, an external subject (mineure externe). In some degree programmes, only a limited range of external secondary subjects are available due to timetabling issues.

Secondary subjects comprise two courses in the first semester and two courses in the second, both in the same discipline.
