Since 1991 the university-wide Action Culturelle et Artistique - ACA (Cultural and Artistic Action) has encouraged and supported creative projects by associations and individuals, as well as overseeing events that encourage different forms of art to flourish in a vibrant University where cultural life is the natural extension of education.

Why not get a feel for cultural life here at Paris 8 University by coming to one of our concerts, film screenings or plays performed on campus, or meeting artists, visiting exhibitions, monuments and nearby cultural centres. The ACA also runs several creative workshops:

• Paris 8 University choirs
• Theatre workshop
• Circus skills workshop
• Introduction to musical instruments workshop, and the Paris 8 University brass band
• Comic book workshop
• Writing workshop
• Acting skills workshop

Box office

The ACA also has its own box office where you can buy discounted tickets for a wide range of cultural events (theatre performances, exhibitions, concerts, films, etc.).

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.and 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Box office opening hours

• Tuesday - Thursday: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m.
