Séminaire - On the fascistization of social reproduction : cross-border views about anti-feminism, debt and neoliberalism

This seminar will analyze contemporary strike experiences in order to think about them from their expansions, beyond the territory of wage labor in a feminist and anti-colonial perspective.
We will take as working cases the feminist strikes in Argentina, Spain and Italy (2017-2024) ; the indigenous-popular-feminist strikes in Ecuador (2019 and 2022) ; the national strike-”estallido”/uprising in Colombia (2019-2020-2021) and the feminist strike (2018-2020) and ”estallido”/uprising in Chile (2019).
Each unfolds a sequence and, at the same time, a discontinuity of political and organizational events that can be thought of in relation to a dynamic that is both processual and disruptive.
We will combine each of these cases of analysis, their conceptualizations and problematics from several questions : what is it for ? ; how is the strike organized ? ; who are the subjects and the demands in each case ? ; what relation can be established with the political processes in each country and at the transnational level ? ; can cycles be established ? ; which are the territories of the revolt ? ; what are the temporalities of the strike ?
We will discuss both the epistemologies of strikes and the question of their generality, efficacy and character in terms of economic, political and subjective ambitions.
